Start Time: 8:30 am - Expected return 4pm

On Saturday 5th July 2014 – I am proposing to ride the Kep Track from Mundaring to Bakers Hill and back. At Bakers Hill there is a bakery selling a wide variety of delicious pies People travel from afar to eat these pies. Before I get too carried away with these pies, we will be travelling a distance of around 84 km.

We will travel through the following places: Sawyers Valley, Chidlow, Wooroloo, Wundowie and Bakers Hill.

For more information on this trail, please check the following link: http://www.keptrack.com.au/Kep%20Map%20%20A4%20Print%20Version.pdf

Meeting place:       Sculpture Park opposite Mundaring Hotel, which is located on Jacoby Street, Mundaring

Description:          The track is easy going gravel, gentle slopes with no major hills or obstacles. The pace will be moderate, although a faster group may be formed if necessary.

Time:                    8.30 am departure – expected to be back by 4.00 pm

Items to bring along:
                            - some warm clothes – it is cooler in the heights of Mundaring and Bakers Hill;
                            - a rain jacket;
                            - some drinks and muesli bars – we will stop at the Bakers Hill Bakery to refresh – there are not many shops along the way!
                            - a change of clothes to leave in the car – as it has been quite wet the past few weekends
                            - your mountain bike of course
                            - and your smile

Please let Jenny or myself know if you are going to join us, so we know whom to expect and to wait for.

Thanks and Regards,

Francis
